It's like August 9th! *cries* I don't want summer to be over! I'm not ready! ..I haven't updated this in 2 months! I don't feel like recaping either. I will, however give my summer movie review because I don't wanna talk about other stuff right now.
**Taladega Nights- Just funny. I could see it again. Best movie I've seen in awhile.
**Nacho Libre- Also funny, pretty good, lots of weird humor.
**Garfield- Like this one too, but Ricky Bobby takes the cake when it comes to comedy.
*** & 1/2 X-Men- Liked this one too, the hotness was good. Good action-y type movie.
**POTC2- Really expected more from this one. I didn't think it was that great. I felt like they made it just to get to the third one and focused too much on the sea monsters.
***Mission Impossible 3- Also good action movie, just wish I could have seen it alone...Had a good surprise ending though

It's really been a long time since I updated this sufficientlly. Two very big things have happend that I feel I need to write about.
1. Prom
I orginally was a little apprehensive about going, but the entire day was really a blast. My date and I before, and were the first ones there at the prom. All of our friends were really late though. I learned to hate the Thriller dance and had my picture taken what seemed like thousands of times. After, a big group of us went bowling..I didn't wear my dress though. As clumsy as I am, I could never bowl in a big poofy thing like that. I could barely get in the car with it.. After bowling, we found a place that serverd breakfast a 2:30 in the morning, so the two of us ate breakfast afterwards. It was awesome.
2. Graduation
I don't really know how to describe graduation. It went by really really fast. Again, picture taken near a thousand times. I didn't feel all that sad until afterwards.. I know, I promised I wouldn't get emotional..but it was just a little. After, I got to go eat anywhere I wanted so I chose Mike's Seafood. Mmm..scallops and shrimp. Later that day I went to Bridget's graduation party where I played with fire and told scary Susan stories.

Well, that's two major events for you. I'll have to try to update more regularly about the everyday ones! :)

Snow Day! Not a very fun one though, because I was busy doing make-up work for the most of it. I went to Memphis and I wasn't impressed with planning, behavior, control, etc. The improv class was no fun. The main activity was to seduce each other? Yes. It now reminds me of the maiting rituals of pengiuns, which is not my idea of improv. We didn't go anywhere either. The mall just had two stores that were any good. I saw ducks, which was all right, but not extremely exciting. The nicest place we ate a was Chilis, which is good, but not exactly Memphis-esque. I did have SOME fun though, don't get me wrong. I fell in love with a hilarious stand-up comedian and a character in one of the plays we watched. I also had a fun time rooming with Susan, Amber, and Kerissa.

P.S.
We lost the election and took a wrong turn at Arkansas.

Going to Memphis for the Thespian Conference this week. Much excitement. They're doing another southern/hillbilly thing for this too. Of course, seeing that the last escapade or hillbillery failed miserably, it totally makes sense to stick with the theme. And we're from TENNESSEE, NOT ARKANSAS! Ok, I'm done..

One month later...
my 18th birthday has come and gone (that over there should say 18, do the math-->), along with Thanksgiving. Soon is Christmas, and even sooner, the Christmas party. Alas, I haven't updated in over a month. 'Tis horrible. Much has happened, but..I forget it all. I feel really old as of late. Ah, July-ness. July is the month of picnics, patriotism, and procrastination, for I have neglected to finish my book, and practice my math skils. So, I got back from D.C. yesterday. I got to fly for the 1st time too. It was pretty cool. Know how I complained about my roommates and how I wouldn't have any fun? Well..I couldn't have been more wrong! I had a great time and made lots of new friends. Actually, I made two friends named Beth. I'd have to say that the best part of the trip was the dinner theatre. It was awesome! The play was Beauty and the Beast. Of course I loved it, and I knew all of the songs. I'm sitting here trying to think of how to describe it, but it's just indescribable. It was that great. Oh, and the best part? All the actors were the waiters/waitresses!

American Idol really upset me last night. Bo should have won over Carrie because 1) he's a better singer and 2) country music in general sucks. I even voted for him too (yes, I am a dork). Today, I managed to effectively use my time and waste it as well. While I was working on my scrapbook, I also watched Van Helsing, Corky Romano, Saving Silverman, Sorority Boys, and Dumb and Dumber. Plus, I had my first real caffiene buzz since the three, or was it four..whatever, 2-liter bottles I drunk at Susan's super bowl party. Tomorrow starts the beginning of a hectic week. Performance at the Presidential Awards, fun fun. Mountian Electric essay contest trip orientation, meeting new people..greaaat. Scrapbook and French exam, tres suck. Then two more public performances, and act like an idiot thespian initiation day Friday. I'm tired just typing it.

Ahaha! I havn't blogged in forever! Too much going on, like essays and books and assorted assignments. Plus, I feel awful with the allgeries, and guess what? ASU now requires student to take four math courses and trig doesn't count!!! So I can't got there now. I don't know what I should do. Since when does ASU have such highg standards? I always thought it was a party school, but their ACT composite score is twenty-frikin'-five!!! I'm sunk! I don't know where to go now. It ruins everything.

Dancing in the grass..in the Springtime! I celebrated the vernal equinox today by wearing sandals, shaving my legs, wearing a skirt, and eating sorbet. Great fun was had for all. I felt a sense of relief after I thought I had lost my Bible. I hadn't, it was at church. It was a big relief concidering I was hysterical the night before. Unfortunatley, I had an essay to come home too, which I just recently finished. In between I dyed Easter eggs though, which was fun. :)

I watched 5 different movies today, ate tilapia and pocky, and sat around all day. The movies were: School of Rock, Pootie Tang, Ella Enchanted, Dumb and Dumber, and Without a Paddle, which I've been wanting to see for a while. I first noticed that it got two stars, so naturallly, I knew I'd love it. I did, and all was good. Except for the Grapes of Wrath essay due on Monday. So not cool.

Ah, the weekend. One of the best things of the week..end. It's almost over though, which saddens me. On Friday, I watched a play, and then perfomed in one. It was great, 'cause I think I kinda freaked everyone out by acting since I never really say much in class. That was one of the original reason I wanted to be in a play, purely for the shock value. Hehe. Of course I really don't think that the play is all that great. Sure, it has a good message and all, but half of the lines sound like a fifty year old guy trying to sound "cool" and "down wit dat". There are more reasons why I really don't care for it, but the list is far too long. The play at Barter, however, was really good. I think this is getting a little lengthy, so I might continue this entry later..TBC

No, not really. I'm ok. Just a little worried about the play. Ms. McGuire called me and said there was rehersal, but I was to chicken to tell her I couldn't come, and I forgot her home no. I called Susan today. Said she was Daniel or something and proceded to talk about her fake flowers. I think she's the one going craaazy. Maybe she can fix the whole play thing for me. I pretty much just play the Sims 2 all day. Not like I read Grapes or anything...

But I have to wear this thing, and it isn't even a normal retainer, and it hurts, and I gotta put this whitening stuff on my teeth, and I can't drink diet coke, or drink tea, or drink coffee/coffee-type beverages, and when I do get a retainer they're gonna hafta get it from some lab, 'cause my teeth are still messed up, and, and, and... Well, ok. At least they're off, but it seemed like it was easier with them on. :S

So, a week into the "Spring" Semester, almost over. It seems that I won't have much of a Christmas break, though. I gotta read The Scarlet Letter and memorize like 55 lines for the play in Theatre Arts. Yeah, me acting. It's not that unusual..I was quite an actor back in the day. But, I didn't expect to get such a big part. Well, maybe it's not that big, but it is for me anyway. To actually get a character with a name instead say..Actor #3, which was the part I thought I'd end up with. I get to talk about how I'll never marry my frat boy, which I don't think Susan will let go of anytime soon.

I asked my mom about going somewhere with Susan, Mr. Bussell (I'm not sure I'm on a first name basis..) and one of his friends. She was surprisingly agreable (of course, to anything but ice skating), which was astonishing . However, I think the only reason that she agree to let me go is because..I'd never go anyway. It's a vicious cycle with me (or a vicious circle..) 'cause I know I'd never get up enough nerve to do something like that, even after I go permission, so I don't think my mom's got much to worry about.

Finally had the "Sleepover Extravaganza" At the restaraunt, we almost sat the building on fire with the cake. I feel kinda sorry for the guy working there, but he was really nice. It was really fun though. Playing Cranium and chatting with Bussell. It kinda makes me feel good 'cause I don't think anyone's actually given me a birthday party , or given me really cool gifts before, other than my family. Why does homecoming week always suck for our class? Honestly, I think the current junior class has had the suck of dress up days. Rescue worker? Camouflage day? C'mon people, that just sucks. Not to mention it's against the rules to dress up as anything besides what they specify for your class? Yeah, that really annoyed be last year.. I'm dressing up anyway though, don't wanna be a party pooper. I'm gonna dress up as a Kung-Fu twin and possibly a counterfeit John Deere farm girl. I need to check in on the details. They'll probably decide to change the senior dress up days just to accommodate our current sucky streak. I hope not. Today I got up kinda early (well, 10 is early for me..heh) and went to Boone. My mom decided to drive the Beetle, so everything was just hunky-dory as they say. Yay! I'm not sad anymore! I went to the awesome concert at Chetola Estates. It was this Beatles tribute band called British Export. It was so cool! At first I was still a little sad, but after the came out the 2nd time I was really gettin' into it! We (me and my uncle) got right up front and danced and sang along! Afterwards I got them to sign my photo and my jacket. I actually talked to them! They were really super nice! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!

Went to K-mart today and picked up some stuff. Specifically some magnets, stickers, a notepad that looks like french fries and other various things for my locker. They always have the best school supplies. When I got home, I finally conquered the "accumulate". I took the rug out from under the computer and dust busted all the crud behind it and around it. It looks much better now. I'm thinking about inviting someone over for the first day of school, but I can't find any lucky canidates. Please apply if interested. Heh.

Went to see King Arthur today. Everyone in it was incredibly hot, especially the dude from A Knight's Tale and the dude with the falcon. I mean, nothing turns me on like a sexy man with a falcon like that one dude in The Mummy Returns (or is it Return of the Mummy..whatever..). Ok..anyway, the theater had really bad sound! Right at the climax at the movie! Thet made me so mad. I've heard radio stations with static with better sound than that. Oh well, it was still good despite the sound quality. I'm off. Inuyasha cones on at 12:30 and SNL's on right now, so I've got to be prepaired.

Today my mom and I rode around town with Mrs. Mckinney looking for houses that were for sale. There wasn't much to choose from. I mean, you could either have a $200,000+ mansion or an el cheapo junk heap. The only ones for sale were ugly, white houses that had a yellow tint due to age. There was one nice one, but we found out that there was something wrong with it and wouldn't sell. After seeing all those crap houses we realized just how great our house was.
